The Champion and Explorer tiers are designed for individuals who are investors in The51 funds. These tiers are available when a fund is actively raising capital.

Currently, both Fund I and Fund II have completed their fundraising and are in the deployment phase. Champion & Explorer Investor memberships will reopen with the launch of Fund III, expected soon.

Once The51 Fund III launches, our Champion & Explorer investor membership tiers will reopen, providing the opportunity to invest. Yes, memberships automatically renew unless they are canceled before the renewal date.  If you have any questions about your renewal or need to make changes, please reach out to our team.

Yes, members can transfer their membership to another individual at any time during their membership period. If needed, the original member also has the option to reinstate their membership. If you’d like to transfer or reinstate your membership, please contact our team for assistance. 

Yes, you can join The51 from outside Canada. If you're outside Canada and interested in investing, reach out to our team to discuss potential opportunities.

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your membership.

• Upgrading – Move to a higher-tier membership, such as from Associate to Explorer or Champion, when you're ready to invest and access exclusive opportunities. 

• Downgrading – If your investment needs change, you can shift to a lower-tier membership while still staying connected to the community. 

For any membership changes, contact our team for assistance. 

Depending on your company’s policies, you may be able to expense your membership as a professional development, networking, or investment-related expense. Many members expense their Associate, Explorer, or Champion memberships through their businesses. 
 
For corporate or group memberships, we also offer invoice payment options. If you need documentation or assistance with expensing your membership, reach out to our team.

• Associate Members have a 30-day money-back guarantee (no questions asked) upon purchasing their membership, ensuring it meets their expectations. Memberships are a one-year commitment, providing long-term access to our network, learning opportunities, and exclusive events. After the first year, you have the flexibility to continue or adjust your membership as needed. 

• Champion & Explorer Members investing in Fund I, Fund II, or future funds commit to a three-year membership, aligning with the long-term nature of venture investing. After this period, you remain in control of your membership and can choose how you’d like to stay engaged.
